The Louwina is a 300 years old farmer's hut which was moved to Gstaad from an alp high above Lauenen in the 1970s. Thanks to a careful renovation it has kept many of the old features and is one of the very few permanently inhabited houses in this much sought-after residential area. Old trees, a meadow, scented roses and herbs adorn the house, the overtopping asset of it all being the splendid views onto the hills and mountains across the surrounding valleys.
